- Management of wildlife on Deseret Land and Livestock (DLL) principally   involves grazing and combining water resources with   other tools such as fire   and other rangeland manipulations in order to maintain a diversity of habitats.
- Observation of wildlife habits and selected research projects have aided us in   the continuing process of improving ranch management for the wide variety of   species.
- A self-funded wildlife management program was developed to successfully   conserve native wildlife species and provide wildlife recreational opportunities.
- Today, nearly 2500 elk, 3500 mule deer, 600 pronghorn, 150 moose, 2000 sage   grouse and hundreds of other wildlife species co-exist with 5000 cattle and 3000   domestic sheep annually.
