DLL pioneer treks start the second week in June and run through the third week of August. There will be a $15.00 fee for each trek participant. This fee applies to everyone on the trek and helps offset the costs of the handcarts, portable toilets, etc. The fee remains the same whether a trek spans three or four days as the week is reserved for the participating group.
To secure the reservation, a $500.00 deposit is required by January 1st - year of the scheduled trek. The check should be made out to Deseret Land and Livestock Pioneer Treks and sent to P.O. Box 250, Woodruff, UT, 84086. If the deposit is not received by this date, the reservation will be given to a stake on the waiting list.
At the beginning of the trek, the trek leaders will provide the missionaries with the number of participants and a check for the remaining amount due. The missionaries will give the leaders a receipt. If there is a large discrepancy between the amount the check is made for and the number of people who attend, the ranch will refund the difference.
